Escondido- Oak Hill Resource Center

Located on 3 acres at 1816 Oak Hill Drive in Escondido, the Oak Hill Resource Center is the perfect place to serve the 1st grade through 8th grade population.

In the Elementary building, we have 5 Montessori teachers and 5 classroom assistants who guide students daily in language, math, science, and social studies (including geography and history).

The five classroom communities consist of one 1st-3rd grade classroom and four 4th-6th grade classrooms. Classes are limited to 28 students.

The Middle School has one large space for all students to convene as a community, as well as two additional large classrooms for formal instruction and study time. A large play area allows for extensive physical activity and the chance to work outdoors.

In the middle school building, 3 qualified Montessori Adolescent trained teachers to guide students daily in language, math, science, cultural studies (including geography and history), occupations (including running a business, running a meeting, gardening, ukulele repair, and instruction...) and health and outdoor activity lessons.

Students also participate in community outreach service projects, overnight camping trips, and field trips.

After school activities include: Jam Band, Book Club, Lacrosse, Basketball and Soccer Club
